me, behind the scenes

On more than one occasion, couples have asked me what kind of attire I wear on wedding days and what I carry with me as I shoot. Obviously, I do not wear the dreaded woman tux or full suit (I am far too active when I photograph to be wearing something so restraining and well, I don't like them). Last time I was with Kella, she snagged some shots. Here are a couple behind the scenes photos of me shooting for the inquiring minds. Thanks Kella!

hit the beach!

Last week, the Ferrador and the Mantz families hit the beach for a fun portrait session. The images will be used as gifts for Sam and Matt's parents' anniversary (congrats Lynn and Kenny) and as a birthday gift for all the kids' grandmother. Our session began somewhat athletic, as Sam and Matt were waiting for the rest of the family to arrive:
